ESAB Compact 315 Semi Automatic welder - Problem and Fix

Hi Forum members,

I navigating more or less blindfolded, since Hugarian to me is just a undersyandable as Chinese.

In my quest for repairing the controllerboard for the welding machine in above tema line, Ive searched for documentation/diagrams.

I stumpled across http://elektrotanya.com, aquired a Log In, downloaded the manual, and started fault finding procedure.

Problem:
Whenever Welder were place in ON position, gas flow and weldthread commenced immediately and continued non-stop.

Fix.
Controller circuit Bi-board (containing the 3*NE555 timers), U28 NPN BC546B leaking BE reverse bias, replaced with BC639.

Result:
My cousin Arne a happy camper, he had inquired for a new controllerboard from ESAB - estimate 900$
Now easily fixed with a 1$ replacement.
