Aiwa NSX-SZ315, tape neither play nor fast-forward, just start and stop immediately

Hello,
I own an Aiwa NSX-SZ315 Hi-Fi stereo with some problems. The first problem I want to fix is that the tape cassette drive doesn't work at all. I own an audio cassette that I can play on another stereo, but if I try to put into the Aiwa stereo and I try to play it, the drive starts to run but stops immediately; if I try to rewind or fast-forward the cassette, then it's the same. The stereo has got two cassette drives, but the behaviour is the same on each one.
What kind of problem could it be? How can I fix this?

Edmundson, SzBálint, thank you. Finally, I found the cassette presence switch: it is a metal flap on the top of the cassette slot. I pushed it, then I pressed the Play button but nothing moved inside. According to your messages, the belt should be loose or torn, so I will disassembly everything to start fixing it.

Hello!
First, identify if the drive shaft starts: Open the cassette door. Look for the cassette sensor at the top of the cassette nest. Usually it is near the middle. If you press your finger, you can start playing without a tape. Please check if the drive shaft is rotating and the winding spindle rotates? If it does not, or if it stops with very little force, the drive belt is loose or torn.

Apparently, the forum does not allow me to put the picture into my post, here you can find the link: http://turtlesarehere.com/assets/images/Parts.jpg

Hello PushyG, thanks for your reply. I put my finger on the playback head that you can see in this picture, taken from the internet:

the stereo didn't play, that should be because it checks the tape presence. Do you know another method to check the belt without unmounting everything?

Hello,

Do not touch the head with your finger. The cassette presences switch is at the opposite side. Probably the belt slips and there is not enough torque to set the mechanism into the play mode. Remove the mechanism from the deck and replace the belts. Before assembling the new belts do not forget to clean the tracks of the belts (motor, flywheel).
