Dual 1210 Turntable - Solve problem with On/Off Lever
The on/off switch locks either in the stop position or the start position. I have it out of the stereo cabinet. When it locks I can move the metal part manually to release the locked position, but when I use the lever it locks again. I cannot understand how the mechanism works. I have taken the lever assembly apart, cleaned and greased each of the 4 layers of metal parts connecting to other sections.
Also the needle arm will not drop down either to the resting position in the cradle or to the vinyl.
Is there a manual that actually explains how these many metal parts interact?
Help please, with either the manual or suggestions on the problem and solutions.
