Sony TC-630 tape deck drive issue
I have been working on a Sony Tc-630 Reel to Reel tape Deck. I have unstuck all the drive wheels and fly wheel, everything is moving as it should. My question is when I put the deck in forward it is going to fast. I have noticed the left wheel is missing the felt brake pad. I assume this must be on. I will have to make a new felt pad. Is there anything else that controls the speed? Everything else seems to be working properly.
