Sansui TU-217 gave up stereo today

I woke up, made a coffee & turned on my Sansui TU-217 tuner as usual this morning.
But the stereo LED lit only a short time & gave out & muted the RX up. It was also tuned to a very strong FM station. Well it works in Mono but not Stereo.
But I have two ears not one.
The first thing I did was to check my antenna out on the balcony & its OK. Also all the other FM stations do the same. Does anybody have some advice for me? The only things I can see on the schematic to do with this is the stereo/mono switch & VR03.

Update: I hooked up my frequency counter to TP03 & set the VCO to 76.0001 kHz.

(The shop manual said The VCP only needs to be 76 kHz plus or minus 150 Hz.)

But the problem stays the same. My Sagenan ATS-803A has no problem receiving these stations with an indoor whip antenna. But the Sansui Tu-217
is hooked up to a full wave outdoor loop made out of 15 cm copper pipe which is mounted out on my balcony.

My antenna input sigal is 4.3 on the receiver's s-meter (which is 65 DBf or 59.8 dB)
I live less than 14 km away from the FM transmitting site.

The weather here is also OK.

Today  (a day later) it works in stereo only now & then but cuts out on & off muting the radio.

Does anybody have any ideas for me?

Thanks!
