Hi all,
I see in various Sony documentation a term called "special PAL signal" or "Ant Pal signal". It is used to calibrate the color decoder. The signal is supposed to be available from a signal generator (exact model never referenced).
I have a Leader 404 PAL pattern generator. While not the most complicated, it is one of the industry standard machine. Also I don't remember seeing a fuction like special-pal in more expensive generators.
Can someone explain what this signal is, and what generator is known to produce this signal? Thanks!
Attached are waveforms and description shown in service manuals, from PVM9220 and 1440 respectively.

Adva van a címben szereplő monitor.A táp szekunderében van két SR5150 típusú schottky dióda párhuzamosan.A katalógus szerint 150V/3A. Egyik zárlatos lett.Mivel lehetne helyettesíteni és hol lehetne beszerezni ezt a diódát.
A segítségeteket előre is köszönöm.

This elderly monster arrived with the error “ 4 blinks “ which the manual suggest is a power board fault There are TWO power boards and a standby power board inside.
On removing rear cover there were two swollen 220uf caps on the standby board, sadly replacing them the 4 blinks remained.
Swapping the two power boards over[ as they look identical , gives a “ 2 Blink “ error , the limited info in the manual suggesting that the fault is on the lower board [ main 2 ].
Both boards have a PFC voltage of around 380 volts at switch on before the relays click out, I have done cold checks on both boards and there are no obvious differences.
The manual has only a block diagram of the power supply so it’s difficult to be sure of values / voltages.
My question is has anybody seen or worked one of these or similar beasts

Van nekem egy 17" collos, B716 700P jelzésű 17 collos 4:3-os monitorom.
Mivel már nincsen CRT monitorom egy sem, mindenhol LCD-ket használok.
Ez a darab már felesleges.
Aki elcseréli Velem, viheti.
Működik, látszik a fotókon, de van egy hibája.
A VGA csatlakozóban van egy elmozdítva kiderülő kontakthiba. Mivel nem bontható, azt ki kell cserélni.
Ezt én is cserélni tudnám, de már mindenütt LCD-im vannak...
