Bought a Blaupunkt HC50 device. It seems to work fine but when I press play it only plays for a few seconds. When pause is pressed and then pressed again it continues but also stops after just a few seconds.
Any advice would be helpfull thank you.

Most likely, the rotation sensor is not sending a signal to the motor control circuit. This means you are not getting drive because of a belt fault or the sensor is broken. In any case, you should replace the belts first, and only then continue looking for the electronic fault.
