9. Dead - HT at 15v	
-D6610 BZX79C10 leaky

10. Dead - HT at 8v	
-R3613 120k in startup fet cct hi res

11. Dead - HT ok - no lop activity	
-L5224 supply to line dr discoloured & o/c

12. Dead - LOPTr s/c & replacement lasted 5 mins	
-Line drive wfm dist - L5519 3µ3 in series with o/p from line timebase chip shorted turns

13. Dead - low o/p from psu	
-R3610 & R3613 faulty - caused by D6610 zener in FET gate faulty

14. Dead - no 95v from PSU.	
-D6638 ( BZX79-B36 ) s/c.

15. Dead - no line osc	
-D6030 12v zener o/c

16. Dead - pri HT only	
-Loptx o/c winding 1/5

17. Dead - psu not starting HT = 15v	
-D6613 15v zener - checked ok out of cct

18. Dead - psu shutdown	
-s/c between pins 1 & 6 of Loptx - replaced

19. Dead - tripped due to high HT	
-R3610 330k in psu hi res

20. DEAD 95v RAIL AT 5v	
-D6671 4v3 US

21. DEAD LOP TRANSISTOR SC REPLACEMENT BLOWS AFTER 5min	
-L5519 ( LINE DRIVE ) OR LOPTX

22. Dead set - psu OK	
-Micro not working but replacement didn't cure - unplug Txt panel got set working - IC7880 PCA84C81AP/098 u/s

23. Dead with burning smell	
-BUT11AF lop tr & dry joints scan coil connector etc

24. Dead with HT only 1.5v & PSU whistles	-Replace 6641 SF2D41 protection thyristor

25. DEAD WITH LED FLASHING AFTER A FEW SECS	-IF NOT LOPT , MAY BE D6613 15v ZENER

26. Dead with low freq sound	
- 95v HT ok but 9v start up only 5v 
- Loptx faulty FAT30057

27. Dead with slight hum - 95v HT at LOPTr	-L5524 coil o/c in line dr stage

28. Dead with st/by light flashing - PSU OK
-No line drive or start up volts pin 16 TDA2579 timebase gen 
- R3455 1k safety feed res high res

29. Dead.	
-D6610 ( BZX79C10 ) zener.

30. Set fails to start-up from standby mode, or at cold temperature.	
-Change C2058 from 33 uF to 47 uF 100V 

31. Set is intermittently not coming on, especially from cold.	-High Tension coming up to normal voltage but there is no line drive. Check start up pulse to line osc IC - pin 11 of IC 7020. If OK, check to see if line drive appears for an instant at switch on, on pin 26. If so, check on base of line output transist

32. Set will not come out of standby	
-Check/replace the EPROM, IC7785 (ST24C02CP; 4822 209 62098) 

33. Shuts once in a while and goes to stand-by.	-Check C2631 (22nF; 4822 122 30103) on leakage. 

34. Slow start up fropm cold with no OSD	
-TR7765 (BC548) s/c between B-E, C2523-68uF
