I recently purchased a used Kenwood M-9000 SS micro Hi-Fi system, but unfortunately, the unit is not functioning correctly. When I power it on, the display is stuck on the message "Waiting for PC Wizard", and the device becomes completely unresponsive – it does not react to any buttons or remote control inputs.

From my research, it seems that this issue may be caused by a missing or corrupted firmware, particularly related to the Sunplus SPHE8202 chipset used inside the device.

I have been trying to locate the correct firmware file (possibly DVDROM.BIN) that matches the hardware (the board ID may be BD305890BB9B50), but so far, I have had no luck finding a working download source.

Could someone please help me with:

• The correct firmware file for this model

• Instructions or guidance on how to recover the system using a USB flash drive

• Any experience with solving this "Waiting for PC Wizard" message on similar Sunplus-based systems

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, I am in a repair KENWOOD KRF-X9995D. Let me know if anyone is aware of how to reset the processor. That is about a year ago I had the same problem with another amp of the same model! So this is the second unit can not repair! The main flaw is that the accumulation of around 1F 5.5V had spilled acid. was also in the same thing happened! ie it shows mute, but going into test mode, (having pressed the key "INPUT SELECTOR DOWN" and "POWER", the analog input works (but only in TEST). Any help? Thank you

Üdv mindenkinek. Van egy ilyen Kenwood erőlködöm.Keresgéltem itt,és láttam,hogy másnak is produkálta ugyanazt,mint nekem.Nevezetesen azt,hogy készenlétről ha bekapcsolom akkor egy pillanatra bekapcsol majd ki,és villog a készenlét ledje addig míg meg nem nyomom a készenlét gombját.Utána folyamatosan világít.Ha megint megnyomom kezdődik az egész elölről. A megoldás nála az egyik (STK 443-070) végfok ic volt.Tulajdonképpen nálam is ez volt a hunyó.Viszont míg a másik emberkének megjavult ennyitől,nekem nem. Összehasonlítottam az új és a készülékből kiszedett stk-t és kiderűlt,hogy az 1-es és a 7-es láb rövidzárba van.Máshogy kifejezve,az egyes lábon lévő +65 V-ot kiküldte a kimenetre.Kicseréltem az ic-t de maradt minden ugyan az.Segítségeteket kérném,hogy mi szállhatott még benne el,ill az lenne még a kérdésem,hogy a benne lévő uCom ic (az egész lelke) kinyiffanhatott-e? Üdv! Sajnos már bontottan kaptam az erősítőt és szükségem lenne a tranzisztorok pontos típusára és pozíciójára Q1-Q18-ig. Minden megoldás érdekel. A kenwood_kr-910_sch_[ET] erősítőhöz van rajzom,de nem teljesen egyezik és elakadtam. Ha valaki tudna segíteni azt nagyon megköszönném.
