Hello, I got a problem with my Sony Receiver STR-DE 225. 
There´s a sudden interruption of Audio in non defined intervalls - may be once ore 6 times during appr. 5hrs operation.
Interruption does not depend on Volume. Connection cables and speakers I´ve checked.
There´s a loud crack in both speakers, display shows for short time "PROTECTION".
After switching off and on again, everything operates normal until next interruption.
I removed from the inside of the receiver a lot of dust with a vacuum cleaner, but this didn´t help.
Unfortunately Sony has no documents for this device, as it is To "old" (1996), or could give me a hint,
in what cases "PROTECTION" might appear.
Is there anyone to give me a clue?  Thanks

 

Hi, I am working on a Luxman L100 belonging to a friend. I noticed the following problems. a) It takes about 12 to 15 secs for the relay to turn ON. b) The relay does turn ON but both the "winker" bulb and "ON" bulb do not light (both the bulbs are OK) c) The "touch MUTE" is not working. d) When switching on the 10Hz low cut filter, the relay cuts off and does not come ON until the switch is set in the centre(bypass). Sziasztok ! Szeretnék segítséget kérni, hogy pontosan mi a menete a képen látható AVA Model 2A végfok beállításának, a végfok csövek 2-2 db párhuzamosan push pullba kapcsolt EL84, a katód áram a gyártó ajánlása szerint 30 mA. Gondolom az egyik potival a negatív elő feszültség nagyságát állítom a másikkal pedig a két oldal szimetriáját lehet beállítani. Ez a 30mA csövenként vagy oldalanként értendő. Illetve mi a beállítás pontos menete ? Előre is köszönöm a válaszokat. Üdv: Antal
