This elderly monster arrived with the error “ 4 blinks “ which the manual suggests is a power board fault
There are TWO power boards and a standby power board inside
On removing rear cover there were two swollen 220uf caps on the standby board, sadly replacing them the 4 blinks remained
Swapping the two power boards over[ as they look identical , gives a “ 2 Blink “ error , the limited info in the manual suggesting that the fault is on the lower board [ main 2 ]
Both boards have a PFC voltage of around 380 volts at switch on before the relays click out
I have done cold checks on both boards and there are no obvious differences
As the manual has only a block diagram of the power supply it’s difficult to be sure of values / voltages
Has anybody seen or worked one of these or similar beasts and managed to diagnose the problem
Thanks for looking

Kűzdök ezzel a készülékkel,hibajelenség a következő:
-stdby ok ,bekapcsoláskor átvált zöldre a led de a szokványostól gyorsabban pislog mig teljesen zöld lessz,, távira reagál bekapcsool, de nem tudom kikapcsolni stdby-ba
- invertert nem inditja még egy villanás erejéig sem, tettem antennát és hang sincs..
- ha járatom,kb 10 perc után kattan a relé 1-2er, 2-3 perc mulva piros led 13-as hibakódot jelez.
A táp mérve jónak tűnik a feszkók megvannak,én a mainboard-ra tippelek..
az eservice-ről letöltöttem a SM-t csak sajnos nem tudom megnyitni..
minden segitséget eőre is köszönök

Hello, I am working on a panasonic tv that shuts down a few seconds after it comes on, blinks(red standby light remains on)three times pauses, and repeat the cycle. Any ideas as to what could be wrong? Thanks.
Hello,
I have a Panasonic TX-68PS20A 68cm (29") Television with a GP3 chassis. (Australian PAL model)
The documentation I have found online says that the gp3 chassis supports VHF PAL-B/G and NTSC-M. However my tv doesnt support M audio. It just tunes the video and gives white noise through the audio since it's looking for B audio even though it's displaying ntsc video just fine.
I have found no options for this in any of the service menus I've accessed. Am I missing something?
I don't mind if I have to reflash something to make this work.
Here is the pdf which I read the specs from, it's not for this model but a similar one with a gp3 chassis. http://elektrotanya.com/cgi-bin/download2.cgi?uid=37145&cid=1417425157&fid=117149&file=panasonic_tx-29psxx_gp-3.pdf&x=26&y=30
