Dear community,

Please help me solving my issue with my LG OLED55CX3LA TV.

I have this TV since 3 years, never had an issue, until last month, when It suddenly start to freeze. It stuck on white/ or in currently displayed picture, got some pitching noise, and 5-6 seconds later the TV shuts off by itself.

The solution so far is to restart it by the power button, or the power socket, within 10 seconds.

The problem occurs very rarely, sometimes early morning, sometimes 2 days without problems. I have played some HDR videos continuously, with no problems.

I have read about these issues on LG OLED, and most of the cases were caused by overheat of the main processor.
Also read about thermal paste. I have opened my TV and yes, thermal paste was hard as rock.

I have cleaned the processor carefully, and used profesional thermo paste, but that does not solve the problem, unfortunately.
Also, I have done hard reset, used latest firmware update, tried without HDMI inputs, but the problems still persist.

As the problem is not coming very often, I am in research of the correct solution.

I was read that the main board can be used from different LG OLED TVs, and even can get a better processor, kinda upgrade.


Give me please your opinion and advice what is the best solution.

Üdvözletem Mindenkinek.Adott a fent emlitett tv készülék , azzal a hibával jött hogy nem indul , egyáltalán semmi életjel, és egy "szaki " szerint el kell dobni...Miután kibontottam a sorvégtranzisztort drot zárlatosnak találtam minden "irányban" ,, Kicserélve készenlét van indulni is akarna a Program + gomb megnyomására hallatszik is a trafo zizegése, de ahogy megjönne a nagyfeszültség egyböl felugrik a fogyasztás 200 wattra.130 watt lenne a normális fogyasztása a hátlapon lévö felirat szerint , a sortrafot kivettem mert fülre is hallatszott hogy nem "olyan hangon szoll mint kellene" ..Elkészitettem Fülesmester trafoteszterét és 12 voltrol betápláltam ,550 ma fogyasztást mértem a trafo berezeg de a nagyfesz kimeneten semmi feszültség nem jelenik meg csak vékonyan "fütyül" a trafo. Ring teszterrel is ellenöriztem , de az hibátlannak mutatta az öszes led kigyult a teszteren. Thomson A68ELA021X201 képcsö van benne ....A trafo tipusa E100521 ...lehetne e ezt a trafot helyetesiteni valamilyen tipussal ez lenne a kérdésem...?Elöre is köszöntem az esetleges segitséget... üdv dddemeter!
