Dear community,

Please help me solving my issue with my LG OLED55CX3LA TV.

I have this TV since 3 years, never had an issue, until last month, when It suddenly start to freeze. It stuck on white/ or in currently displayed picture, got some pitching noise, and 5-6 seconds later the TV shuts off by itself.

The solution so far is to restart it by the power button, or the power socket, within 10 seconds.

The problem occurs very rarely, sometimes early morning, sometimes 2 days without problems. I have played some HDR videos continuously, with no problems.

I have read about these issues on LG OLED, and most of the cases were caused by overheat of the main processor.
Also read about thermal paste. I have opened my TV and yes, thermal paste was hard as rock.

I have cleaned the processor carefully, and used profesional thermo paste, but that does not solve the problem, unfortunately.
Also, I have done hard reset, used latest firmware update, tried without HDMI inputs, but the problems still persist.

As the problem is not coming very often, I am in research of the correct solution.

I was read that the main board can be used from different LG OLED TVs, and even can get a better processor, kinda upgrade.


Give me please your opinion and advice what is the best solution.

Sziasztok! Megjavítottam egy táphibás fenti TV-t, és bekapcsoláskor kiírja pár másodpercre, hogy "Aut.nastav", utána, hogy "Pásmo". Ha kezelni akarom, akkor pedig "Vynulovat". Hangerőt lehet szabályozni (az OSD-t), meg egy-két funkciónak az ikonja lejön, de gyakorlatilag semmit nem csinál. Ilyen számokat láttam a hátulján: 011080/099188/S/T Product code:17LS5R-ZA.AEKWLTK Ser. no.: 801TEVF10071 Köszönöm a segítséget. Üdvözlettel: Attila Megoldás: A menüben én a JAZUK-LANGAGUE pontban próbáltam nyelvet váltan, de ott finomhangolást csinált. Valószínűleg fordítási hiba miatt. Egy egészen más (sajnos már nem tudom, hol ), pontban, véletlenül találtam rá a nyelvválasztásra, és tudtam lengyelről magyarra váltani. Ott már látszott, hogy gyerekzáron is van, ezért nem lehetett a pultról kezelni. És egy slusszpoén: Ha már kezelhető, ki is próbálom! Behangoltam, de a kép szemcsés, zajos volt. ...mint kiderült, amivel évek óta dolgoztam, RF kábel, megszakadt. Pont ennél, az amúgy is zűrös gépnél. Üdvözlettel: Attila
