I am looking for the display back-light bulbs for my aging UX-D88GD mini stereo unit. If you can give me any information regarding a suitable replacement I would be most grateful.

Tough question.
I managed to find out that it's 12 V, but not how much power it has.
It could be 20-40-50-80 mA.
I would start with the smallest one, and if it's weak, I would change it to a bigger one, gradually.
