even after installing a new Battery on the local Unit my FT-767 do not remember the last dial frequency after re-powering the device.
Does anybody know the function of the switch s02 concerning the Memory?. Should it be set to ON or OFF for normal operation?
The back up switch on the rear side is in off postion, so the memory should be enabled. Thanks for any response.

Hello WAlter !
The S02 switch must be in the On position, in which case the negative pole of the battery is connected to GND. If you look at the device's wiring diagram, it's clear.
