funai dvpr-4800

hi

i have a funai dvpr-4800 , it has no power. i replaced big filter capacitor and found a resistor (r1043 , 2.7 ohm 1 watt) open.
when i replaced the resistor it burned. what can be the problem?

i thought Q1000 Fet has a problem and draw to much current? i`m nog sure
