Toshiba 32L4333D stop responding to the remote

So I have a Toshiba 32L4333D for some years now and the last months, I moved to a new house.
One night the toshiba stopped responding to the remote and I plugged it off. When I plugged it back, it wouldn't again. It doesn't respond on the buttons on the right side as well.
Please help.
