Blaupunkt Monterrey MP35 Car Stereo CD Player, "error" on the screen

Hello ALL,  I'd like to get my Blaupunkt Monterrey playing CD's again... I get the message ERROR on the screen.  I have cleaned the laser, so I am looking for other possibilities... maybe even replacing the laser module if ANYONE has one that fits.  Also looking for a schematic or exploded view of this unit to determine other possibilities. The unit WAS working no too long ago... Any input will be greatly appreciated.  Happy Holidays!!  Joe
