Sharp 60E69U TV volume issue

Have a Sharp AQUOS TV MDL# 60E69U. Volume has to be turned up in order to hear any audible sound. When it should be 20 or 30 you have to turn it up to 60 or higher. Cannot adjust. Audio on remote does not seem to work. TV just started to react this way last few weeks. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks MM
