The CD player on my Sony CFD-S50 will only play a little over a minute, then it starts flashing and starting over on its own. I tried the troubleshooting on the Sony website, but it keeps doing this. Is it simply broken already? It's only 4 years old. The cassette player still works on it, but can the CD player part be repaired? Is it even worth repairing? Thank you.

), here a hint to solve one problem descibed below.
the CFD-S550 looks similar to CFD-S50, but isn't the same.
As I had a CFD-S50 for repair and I can't find schematics/service manual in the web (just a 2 page part list
Everything works fine CD, Cassette, Tuner - execept the speaker, no sound!
As I found out, the electrolytic capacitor 22uF/16V connected to pin 9 (in datasheet named "ripple") of the speaker amplifier UTC8227 (device with vertical U-heatsink on mainbaord) was weak, After replacement speakers work fine again.
