Hi there, I recently got a new motor installed in my AKAI GXC-325D cassette deck.
I'm noticing the pitch is a bit high. The belts are brand new before I took it in and it was in pitch before I had it repaired. I don't have the extra money to lay down another diagnosing charge and I'm currently in quarantine from Covid and keeping myself busy in the meantime. Is there a screw or anyway of adjusting the pitch to slow down just a hair from where it is at the moment? I'm really, really hoping this is an easy solution. Again, I tried a more narrow belt which drops it down a tad but it is tighter and I don't want to stress the motor at all since it's brand new.
Any info is greatly welcomed and more than appreciated.

HI Sam,
You can find the answer in service manual.

You can adjust the speed of the tape with potentiometer VR1, which is on the servo control board.

Nandor
