My old FT1000 MP has no output on 15, 12, and 10 meters. I see on the panel that the collector current is low on all other bands, but is very high on the "dead" bands (receive is OK). Am I wasting money trying to get this repaired?

Can the indicated error also be measured with a 50 ohm dummy load, or only when connected to a real antenna?
Unexpectedly, the RF output stage/output filter may be faulty.
ou will find a service description here on the page, with the help of which the fault can be limited.
Such a professional radio would definitely be repaired.
