Akai gx-260d play for a few minutes and stop

akai gx-260d will play for a few minutes & stop, let set for appx. 30 minutes it will play again & stop acts like the stop button is activated but using stop, play, ff, fr nothing happens, motor doesn't engage, any ideas/suggestions?
