Uher L724 Stereo tape recorder, no voltage on signal meter level bulb

i have an UHER l724 stereo tape recorder and the signal meter level bulb doesn't lite . A technician toldme   the bulb is okey but the problem is the voltage feeding the bulb doesn't work. Shall i request the uher diagram to fix the problem?
