Many Yamaha receivers would shut down without being asked to, and a capacitor on the power supply board was found to be the culprit. Of course it does not list my model number in that group and there is not the same cap on the board although the board is very similar. The receiver plays for a while, then shuts off. If you turn it back on, it comes on and plays fine, but for less time. A third attempt at turning it on, yields an even shorter time that it will stay on. Nothing inside heats up. Has anyone found this magic bullet ? Thanks !
