I am looking for information on how to test the output of a BN44-00605A PSLF770S05A. Specifically the backlight supply although the main board output might be useful as well.
Background if you're interested was a Samsung 32" with no picture. Found that one backlight strip was faulty so ordered a new set, tested each strip individually as working using a battery pack with 28v output. On reassembly, still no backlight so assumed power board was faulty and ordered a new one. Still no picture, so stripped TV down again and found one of the new strips had failed so whilst it could have just been a dodgy LED I would just like to be sure the power supply isn't the cause of the failure.
