The DVD player/recorder seems to be working OK. However, the VHS section is not.
I can insert and eject tapes OK, but once in they don't play. With the top off, I observe that the mechanism does "capture the tape and the main shell rotates, but no sound or picture and the tape itself does not move. I also have a remote.
