 This elderly monster arrived with the error “ 4 blinks “ which the manual suggests is a power board fault

There are TWO power boards and a standby power board inside

On removing rear cover there were two swollen 220uf caps on the standby board, sadly replacing them the 4 blinks remained

Swapping the two power boards over[ as they look identical , gives a “ 2 Blink “ error , the limited info in the manual suggesting that the fault is on the lower board [ main 2 ]

Both boards have a PFC voltage of around 380 volts at switch on before the relays click out

I have done cold checks on both boards and there are no obvious differences

As the manual has only a block diagram of the power supply  it’s difficult to be sure of values / voltages

Has anybody seen or worked one of these or similar beasts and managed to diagnose the problem

Egy lehetséges jó elnevezés pl: ORION LCD PT26S chassis 17MB12-2, a tápja nem indul Az nem elég, hogy pl: "LG LCD-TV" vagy "HP laptop" és hasonlóak. Illetve érdektelen, nem releváns információt se tartalmazzon a cím! A helytelenül elnevezett topik felfüggesztésre, majd 48 óra után törlésre kerül! Felfüggesztett állapotban nem tudnak mások addig hozzászólni, amíg ki nem javítod a címet. A hibás cím utólagos javítása (48 órán belül) a "Szerkesztés" fülre kattintva végezhető el."

Sziasztok! A tv 10 perc üzem után kikapcsol és villog a stby led.Bekapcsolni csak negyed óra múlva lehet ismét. Ha működik semmi gyanús nem látszik rajta. Egyszercsak kikapcsol és villog. A tápfeszek rendben vannak. Találkoztatok már ilyen esettel? Az STR-re gondolok. Köszönettel: Vasmacska

I have a Panasonic TH-48LFE8E display in at the moment.

The standby (red) LED does not come on when the power is connected and the unit is not responsive to the remote control.
However when the power button is pressed on the set the green power on LED lights, but there is no backlight or other signs of activity on the LCD.
I have tried to obtain a service manual but apparently they are no longer available?
I have not repaired many Panasonic units and if any one can help it would be appreciated
