Dear forum members, Perhaps anybody can help me with the Sony KDL-40EX1 TV set. I have this set here for repair , but I have no experience with this type of TV. It has a media box and sents the TV information wireless tot the TV. My problem is on the tv: no picture and no sound , the backlite works because I see white light behind the screen. There is also wireless communication because I can turn the TV on and off with the switch on the media box and on the TV itself. I have the service manual but this doesn't really help me any. So the power board seems to be working because I have high voltage for the ccf tubes and 12V for the rest of the TV. It is my idea that perhaps the main board is defective because I have no picture and no sound but I am not sure. Is there anybody here on this forum that can help me with some idea's. I have just bought a Sony PVM-14M4A broadcast monitor and it works great except it wont do NTSC at 50Hz, it just shows a monochrome image. I have not tried PAL60 yet but that will probably have the same problem. Can I override the automatic colour system setting somehow?

A fenti készülék működés közben leállt, azóta csak csak stand-by led villog (4-et).Hozzám kerülve cseréltem a "szlovák" sorkimenőt (HR 8638-ra),a zárlatos Q8803;8804;8805;8806;8203-at valamint a szakadt R8895 és R8896-ot. Ezek után elindult, de a geometria tragikus: visszintes méret kb.50% nagymértékű párna torzítással és nem is állítható. Nem találok egyébb hibás alkatrészt. Ha valakinek van ötlete, kérem segítsen! Tisztelt Kollégák! A fenti készülék jobb csatornája gerjed, kb. 2 kHz-es fütyülés jelentkezik. TV és AV üzemmódban egyaránt. Az "A" board-on lévő IC202 MSP3410B-PS-F7 multi hag proc. kimenetén "57" már gerjedés van. A proc. környéke ellenőrizve, hibát nem találtam. Az IC hibájára gondolok. Volt valakinek hasonló problémája? Van valakinek javaslata, vagy ötlete ezzel kapcsolatban? A HQ-nál,Sini-nél sincs lehetőség rendelni. Köszönök minden segítséget. Üdv: K. Gyuri
