I have read the cables from the TCON to the display loosen up on the end to the panel. I believe as I am working on moving the cables around, the picture is improving 
and getting clearer. So I think thats the problem. Someone mentioned using tape over them to hold them to the panel better. I have not taken the metal frame off to 
look at them, but there is a narrow gap where I read some people stuff cardboard in there to press down on them better.

Has anyone ever seen this issue and come up with a good way to resecure the cables?

Üdv Azt hiszem a címben minden le van írva. Hozták ezt a masinát, hogy, ha olcsón javítható... :) Kérdés, hogy a cső öregedett meg, vagy okozhatja valami "olcsó" probléma is?

Sziasztok kollégák! Hoztak hozzám egy ilyen izzót,a tulaj most rendelte a neten. A régi nem világított de vett egy újat. Kicserélte de ez sem világít. Sosem kerültem még ilyen rendszerű tévével javítási kapcsolatba. Ohm mérővel semmit nem tudok mérni rajta. Egyáltalán milyen elven működnek ezek? Üdv! e készülék szívat, egyszer van készenlét egyszer nincs, ha van egy pillanatra indul a sor, nagyfesz de le is áll szinte azonnal, str54041-et, 22u, 560k, a táp primer oldalán cseréltem, forrasztásokat átnéztem, szerintem a készenléthez szükséges 7v szekunder oldali fesz hiányzik...ebben szeretnék tanácsot kérni, előre is köszönöm!
