Dear,
A have a AWM4500 WHIRLPOOL.
The load of the water is correct and the program stops before the heating of the water.
The programmer is a SIEBE EC4477.03P13
I don't exactly know if the programmer wait for something after water load.
I have verified the following :
1) The switch of the door gives a contact : measured with a multimeter on connector A7 : got 230VAC.
2) The Pressostat switchs correctly and gives voltage on PIN B9 (to gives power to the heating element).
3) The program stops and no more happens. So, contact on B12 and B2 doesn't switch and heating element isn't powered.
4) If a connect 230 VAC on the little motor (TIM) it turns correctly.
Why the programmer stops and which information is missing?
What must I do to check the programmer or check the missing information?
Remark : the last cycle (water evacuation ) works correctly. Main Motors works correctly and the motor brushes are correct.
NTC resistor seems correct but give +/- 16K : in fact the temperature of the room is +/- 18 °C.
If I try a cold washing (to avoid heating issue), it is the same.
Best Regards
Hy. Check the relay contacts on the mainboard. Re-solder the connections of the relays. The heater-relay-s function is correct? Give it 12 volt and check it for resistance.
Have a nice Day.

Azt hiszem , hogy ebben nem igen van relé .

Hello,
What happens if you manually turn the program continue? Then turn on the heat? I look at the 1Uf/275V X2 capacitor.

Dear,
Thanks for your quick reply!
The capacitor is a 600nF. I have dismounted it and checked a value of 650nF. It body seems OK.
When I turn manually the program for one step, then I can see 230 VAC between B2 and B12: it's correct.
It stays only +/- 30 secondes. No more.
Then, the motor turns slowly to wash for 1 minute.
Then it stop again.
Conclusion : contact seems good.
Measure of the heating Resistor gives 24 Ohm : correct.
But, anyway, if I select "Cold wash", then the heating shouldn't be a problem.
So, Heating resistor shouldn't be a problem in this case.
Why it stops every steps?
Do you have any more advices?
Thank

Hi!
Change the capacitor to a new one, and try it. 650nF is poor.

Hello, on spin program it does start?
Can you check engine harness and/or tacho circuit?
0
Oh yes, I forget the TACHO circuit !
Hope it is the cause
Thank

Tacho is good too.
When I turn the drum, a AC voltage of +/- 3VAC appears between PIN 1 and 2.
So, I suppose the Main board is defect.
I give up unless I can find a cheap programmer to check.
Thank for all your help!

Hi!
One, of possible: check the heating element with an insulation tester (at least 1000V).

I already checked the Heating element and it gives 24 Ohm.
But if I select the COLD WASH, then Heating element shouldn't be the cause.
When I select COLD wash and I manually turn 1 step the program, then it quickly go forward and doesn't apply the voltage on the resistor : it seems a normal behavior.
But, then it stops again.
Help very appreciated.

Hi!
I think, check the insulation betveen ground and the heating element terminal vith a high voltage ohmmeter.

Thank for the tip
I have replaced the Heating element by a bulb lamp.
So, It's completely isolated and I can see when the heating.
I also replaced the NTC by a potentiometre (1K to 47 K).
I can simulate almost everything.
But even when COLD program , the behavior stays the same :
The LAMP never switch itself ON.
When I place the rotator one step forward, then it lights for 1 minute then go forward by itself.
Then stop.
I think I will give up.
