I don`t know these instrument, and ET hasen`t hes manual too, but did you measured resistances on the pedal and hes connector-possible its only a breaked cable/contact issue-or the pot (if it hase) is the problem.
BTW: Hammond Club hase possibly mor documentgs for the solution...
