Sony TA-A590 amplifier, turns on but no sound

Good day
I need help with a Sony Amp, model number Ta-a590. It turns On but there is no sound at all.
When I hit on the sides, I do get sound but not for long as it's turns off after few minutes.

Good evening,

I had a similar problem with a TA-FA360. I traced the problem to dry joints on the PCB where vertical bus bars are connected and then run up to the loudspeaker sockets. Re-flowing the soldered connections cured the problem permanently.

Hi,

I think, there is a contact error in your amplifier.
Check soldering points, loudspeaker protective relay transient resistance, switch contacts.
Q: When the sound stops, do you hear the relay click?

Postprint: This amplifier is made up of many boards. Lots of connectors. You probably have a problem with these too.
