I connected my unused Philips Home theatre HTS 5583 after a long time of storage in its box and it started in SPEAKER PROTECT mode.
It does not do anything after that.
It just shows SPEAKER PROTECT even when there is nothing connected to it...
How do I get out of this mode?

Dear Anonymus!
You get this error message when one or more amplifier output are bad. Please check all speaker output pins pair. If any pair output voltages are over 0V that chanel amplifier is bad. This amplifies are working by 12V, type is: TAS5352. If you download datasheet you can check all pins actual voltages.
