Samsung Microwave CM1319 Only Dispays 'on' in display but won't set time or begin cooking

'ON' is only thing on display. Loud beep when cancel button pressed. However no response when cooking and time dial turned. Lamp turns on when door opens. It's from 2001. Any ideas? Thanks.
