B&O Beoystem 6500 Master Control does not connect to Beo Master Receiver

I inherited a whole system from my deceased father.
The CD player works well, good sound.
But neither the 'Beolink 1000' Remote nor the 'Master Control 6500' can reach the system.
I cannot control the sound nor anything.

Someone said it could have something to do with one-way two-way control.
But I have no clue what that could mean.
I would appreciate receiving any help.

This answer from B&O has solved the Problem:

1: Schließen Sie den BeoMaster 6500 an das Stromnetz an,
2: Wenn die rote LED leuchtet, verwenden Sie einen BeoLink 1000 und drücken Sie: Sound, 1, Speichern. Auf dem Display des BeoMaster 6500 sollte kurz Opt.1 angezeigt werden.
3: Drücken Sie dann am BeoLink 1000 die Taste Radio.
