I’m running a small DIY project with 18650 cells and I don’t want to over-discharge them. Right now I just check with a multimeter every so often, but that’s not really convenient. What’s the simplest way you guys monitor lithium battery levels in real time?

Hi!
BMS(Battery Management System) circuit need.

I stopped using the multimeter method because it was too much hassle. I ended up adding a lithium battery voltage indicator with LED bars that show the charge level directly. It picks up tiny voltage changes and updates quickly, so now I can glance at the lights and know roughly where the battery’s at without pulling out any tools.

Well, the BMS is the best method and not expensive! :-)

Hi
BMS automaticly disconnect battery when voltage drop to 2.8V, if you don't use your device large time and voltage drop to 2V, battery will be damaged permanently and cannot charge it again.
