HI. Sorry I have no Hungarian, so am hoping someone with English can please get back to me.
My AD-F450 cassette deck has not been used for about 10 years. I inserted a tape, pressed play but other than a few slight noises, the slide plate with pinch roller does not engage with the capstan in either play or rewind/FF.
Used to work in a HIFI repair shop 40 years ago, but have never worked on this Aiwa. What makes the slide plate engage with the capstan? I can;'t see any solenoid. Does the flywheel momentum somehow force the slide late to engage, and what holds the slide plate engaged?
