Returned from weekend away to find temperature warning light flashing & freezer defrosting. Temp inside 5C. Tried unplugging & 'replugging - flashing stopped but freezer not cooling. After 6 hours on fast freeze setting Temp inside now10C. Possible fault causing this? Thanks

Yes, it's broken. If you're just a user, you can't do anything with it, you need a mechanic.
You can only check if the compressor is working (humming), if it is and the black grid at the back is cold, then it is a caloric error, if the engine does not run, then it is electric.
