Could you PLEASE point me in the direction of buying a replacement fuse for my old, but perfectly, 'til 2 weeks ago, performing B&O Beomaster 4400 receiver. I pulled the burnt fuse but, cannot seem to find an exact replacement online. The metal filament has a coil in it instead of just a straight filament that I see on fuses online... and I cannot read the amp/voltage #(?) stamped so lightly on the metal end caps.
Please: do you have any suggestions? I have NEVER had a problem since I bought my used receiver 25 years or so years ago;
one day, a couple of weeks ago I turned on the receiver, heard pop in speakers, then NOTHING. I don't know why; maybe the volume was accidentally high when I switched it on???
Thank you in advance.
Respectfully
Carl Alberico
PS. I am pathetically resorting to listening to cds, radio, and cassettes on a small boom box!!!!

Hello!
According to the Service Manual, the mains fuse is 2.5A. According to your description, it has a slow characteristic. Good luck with the replacement.
