Hi all,i have a grundig satellit 1400sl ,i brought it in bad shape,it now works ok after replacing lots of electrolytics that were leaky or had high esr,i feel it could do with an alignment but have no info how to procede,i have a service manual from here but its in german and not very informative as regards test points etc,i have a sig gen,freq counter ,lab psu and a 100mhz scope,can anyone help?,73 and thanks Paul m3vuv.

Thanks for your time but the alignment info once againe is in german and google translate cant work with a scan so back too square one!.

Yes, you can do it.
Use an OCR to convert scanned pdf to text then translate with Google. Do not expect that anyone will do the translation work for you, just for fun.

), of course the output file is far from perfect.A professional radio amateur will understand.
If you use an OCR software (I recommend the Abby fine reader) ,the output file is generated by the selected format (txt,doc,docx,epub.etc).This is NOT graphic file,so the filesize much smaller,the google translator can cope with it.
If it's such a big problem, I'll do it (just for fun
