I have a H&K Tube 100 head that was given to me for some repair work on a Mesa Maverick.
There is a blown resistor, I believe it is resistor schematic # R112.
This one is blown apart somehow. It is about 1/4" diameter and not quite an inch long.
It resides on the large preamp board in the rear right corner of the board.
Its an olive drab green with lighter shade green ends.
The outer surfaces are mostly gone except at the ends. i did find a few shards of the outer skin and one piece had 5W, I just need to know the impedance of the resistor which I believe is a Ceramic Wire-wrapped resistor. I found the schematic yet it doesn't have a name/part number list for this resistor as well as others.
I'm not sure if the Tube 50 has this resistor or not.
If anyone has access to a H&K Tube 100 I would really appreciate someone checking the value of that resistor.
I didn't notice it being damaged until I removed the mains transformer and it was obscured by the transformer lines that go to the preamp board.
I have the amp head stripped down and I believe you can see it without pulling the board. If you remove the rear vent cover that covers the EL34 tubes you can see it on the far left portion just left and below the EL34 tube
if anyone can help me identify that resistor I would be grateful.

I couldn't believe I overlooked it so I opened the service manual again and there it was.
My best friend and bandmate, Mike had his Mesa Maverick blow out on him and he took it to two guys near the coast who "work on amps" take a look and they didn't want to fool with the Mesa or the H&K Tube 100 head that was also broken (Mike is kinda hard on tubed equipment for some reason)
I kept telling him to let me look at the Mesa and I'll only charge him if i can fix it.
I told him if I do fix it, and If it takes more than a few days I think a repair bill of $300 is fair. I fixed it and he asked if I'd take the H&K Tube 100 head instead of cash. I didn't hesitate at all so now I've got this amp on the bench and was really stuck over this resistor value. Thanks so much for pointing it out to me.
I hope that everything else is in order, it had a blown EL34 (Mesa tubes oddly) , a blown 160mA tube fuse and a blown main fuse. I was removing the transformer for the main board and the thick bundle of leads from the tranny was hiding this blown resistor. While in there I saw it had two smallish capacitors that were just staring to leak at the vent. I just ordered the fuses, caps and resistor so I hope to have her ready to test by Wednesday.
I'm thinking about converting this over to KT88s, when I retube it later on.I had a Vintage Modern 2206C Marshall thst had KT66 tubes in it and I loved that amp.
The dynamics on those KT66 tubes was amazing, Use the guitar volume to roll it back to clean like a big Fender Twin or Showman, shimmering highs and you dial up the volume it begins to saturate the tubes with that creamy tube distortion without clicking a pedal or amp switch.
I had a vintage 59 Les Paul Jr with a big fat P90 that was a perfect match with the Vintage Modern and I hope to relive that pleasure with this H&K.
