How to reset AKAI GX-W45 double cassette deck

The play buttons on both cassette decks are lit up indicating they are both
playing.

This cassette deck control buttons are soft touch and operate electronically rather than relying on a "push."
I believe the "fuzzy logic" is confused and the system needs a reset.  This is usually done by pressing a combination of buttons. 
I do not know how to reset the system if this is the problem.  I need help on this here.
