Kenwood kt-6040 am/fm stereo, change tuning steps

Hi,l Live in America and bought a kt 6040 European  model, l need to change de tuning steps in AM from 9khz to 10khz,also change De-Emphasis from 50ms to 75 ms,is posible to fix it?thanks anyways.

Upgrade 
Lot of thanks Mr. SzBalint,the solution easier and cheaper.
There are two mode selector switch diodes (D1,D2)on the display  board  under the switch 3 ("active mode")
Both diode have to be soldered on the board,that activates the american AM standard.

Hi Carlos,
The steps of the PLL that produces the tuning frequency are programmed in hardware. Yes, it is possible by replacing the entire electronics. It is not worth it.
