After fault ic 7805 supplying 5 volts failed and supply became 13 volts. Ic was replaced and now all voltage are ok but main microprocessor ic in display board is not responding. No display and no switching on of unit. Tried reset also but board seems to be dead. Any possibility of revival or any possibility of defective component to be checked.

If 7805 in short circuit between input and output then µProcessor got 13V and burned , tolerance for µP is +0.5V, check 5V line supply to µP if not have fuse or fusible resistor then not possible to repair it.

Thank you very much for your expert opinion. There is no fuse or fusible resistor in line as after replacing IC 7805 5 volts is available to micro processor. So it is beyond repair.
