Onkyo HT-R530 home theater main processor issue

i changed the main processor chip. Do the new chip now have to bereprogramned.

There are 3 Chips needed to write program for Onkyo av-amp. Main processor, video processor and DSP chip. FYI DSP cannot write program directly on board while video and main processor can. Your amp is now completely dead due to a unprogrammed processor replaced.
