1.1 How, if not
1.2 Can the Micro-Controller (what kind of controller is built in?) be re-programed, for a third party sensor. Is there a password set?

I don't know about World(s)-Designer, but you should know that the IP you provided is your localhost's IP, in other words, the link may work only from your machine, not even from another computer on your internal network.
