i hope someone can help with a backlight board repair.
i have a TH-L42E30M that is getting BL_SOS triggered .
i'm getting this even if the LD2 is disconnected (power out for the LEDs).
24V is coming into the board properly and if i disconnect the backlight board (LD4 and LD2) and short out BL_SOS to ground the TV boots up correctly (though without backlight ofcourse) i think it is the over voltage protection of the LED drivers that trips the BL_SOS signal.
now what can cause the OVP to trip ?
which components should i check next ?
