I can charge the shaver with a 12v DC supply and the LCD display shows the increased capacity. However when I plug into the mains it doesn't charge. I think I have checked the 4 pin diode and a 2 pin one, and 2 capacitors, a transformer and 2 resistors - not sure what else to do.
