Pioneer SX-800 restoration

I own a Pioneer SX-800. Bought it in 1965.  For decades it has not been on the powerline. I suppose there must be something I have to repair before starting it up after so many years. Starting with all the capacitors I think. Is there a member who has any suggestions?

Hello,

Start with a reduced supply voltage, adjustable (Auto)  transformer, or an incandescent lamp connected in series with the mains.
Electrolytic capacitors must be charged and formatted.
It is also worth checking the solder joints, tubes, tube plate and grid voltges.etc.

Good luck ,
